South Australian Women’s and Children’s Hospital – Gender Diversity Adolescent Medicine appointments are held at the WCH Paediatric Outpatient department (Level 1, Rogerson Building Zone A). Gender Diversity Psychiatry appointments are held in the Department of Psychological Medicine (Level 1, Good Friday Building Zone C).
The Gender Diversity Team will accept new referrals across South Australia for any child or young person up to the age of 17 years with concerns regarding their gender identity.
Pink Parents – Pink Parents is Adelaide’s Largest (and Oldest!) Community
of LGBTQIA+ Families. We were established by a local couple following the birth
of their daughter around 25 years ago. What started as an annual camp for
Rainbow families and a volunteer run, weekly playgroup is now growing into
multiple playgroups across Adelaide and many other fun, family events
throughout the year!
Trans Hub includes some fantastic information for parents and carers in supporting their gender diverse child (across all ages).
